Housing in Cuba

During my sophomore year at Northwestern, I had the opportunity to be a part of Medill’s Global 301 program that features a reporting trip abroad. My visual reporting class went to Havana, Cuba for a week to report on all aspects of the food, culture, tourism, history and politics there. For this story, I reported on tourism, but more specifically, housing. I gave viewers a taste of what it’s like staying in a homestay vs a hotel. Check it out!
